State transportation officials will hold meetings Monday and Tuesday nights to update the public on the status of the Monroe Bypass.The bypass, proposed as a toll road between Stallings and Marshville, was sidelined earlier this year when a three-judge panel from the 4th Circuit ruled in favor of a group trying to block construction of the roadway.

The meeting schedule:

Monday: 6 p.m., Next Level Church, 4317 Stevens Mill Road, Matthews.

Tuesday: 6 p.m., Union County Agricultural Center, 3230 Presson Road, Monroe.
